Business Finance Controller – Central Europe

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Business Finance Controller to become a trusted finance partner for one of our Central European business categories. You will work at the intersection of finance and strategy, turning complex data into actionable insights that shape decisions across five markets (Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria).

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial and business performance across the five markets, delivering timely insights on revenue, profitability and trends.
• Identify risks, opportunities and performance gaps, recommending corrective actions and supporting monthly performance reviews.
• Evaluate category performance, pricing, margin development and marketing investment effectiveness; provide scenario modelling for strategic initiatives.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning through driver‑based analysis, scenario building and risk management.
• Build strong relationships with category leadership and finance stakeholders, influencing decisions with objective financial insights.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in controlling, financial analysis or accounting.
• Fluent in English and one Central European language.
• Strong analytical, strategic and commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
