Controller – Finance Business Partner

About the role

Stora Enso is seeking a Controller to join its Finance Operations team in Ostrava. You will act as a finance business partner, supporting the Business Area/Unit with controlling, reporting and budgeting activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial closing.

Key responsibilities

• Operate as finance business partner for the assigned entity or function.
• Lead or support controlling and financial reporting processes, including entity closing, budgeting and forecasting.
• Own accurate closing, analysis and reporting activities.
• Represent the entity in Record to Report, Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash processes.
• Implement Stora Enso finance policies and drive continuous improvement and harmonisation of controlling processes.
• Contribute to process automation and development projects.
• Maintain close cooperation with key stakeholders across finance and other functions.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling, management reporting or accounting.
• Strong understanding of entity closing, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Ability to work in a matrix, international environment.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
