Legal Entity Controller

About the role

We are seeking a senior Legal Entity Controller to join our Record to Report team in Ostrava, Czechia. The role is responsible for the financial integrity, compliance and regulatory reporting of assigned subsidiaries, ensuring all statutory accounting, tax filings and local obligations are met accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure legal entity reporting complies with local laws, tax requirements and group policies across multiple countries.
• Prepare and file statutory financial statements, corporate tax returns, VAT declarations and other regulatory filings.
• Manage intercompany charges in line with transfer‑pricing policies.
• Implement legislative changes and update processes in collaboration with external service providers.
• Partner with Finance Operations, Treasury, Tax, Business Units and other stakeholders on entity‑related matters.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors, coordinate deliverables and resolve audit findings.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement reporting at the legal entity level.
• Execute internal controls, ensure quality of financial statements and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CIMA) is a strong advantage.
• 4–10+ years of experience in accounting, auditing or financial controllership, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS and tax accounting relevant to legal‑entity reporting.
• Excellent analytical ability, high attention to detail and ability to work under tight regulatory deadlines.
