Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures customer satisfaction by delivering high‑quality lift service, safe operations, and timely on‑site communication. The role covers planned maintenance, emergency call‑outs, repairs, and detailed reporting for elevator equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive communication to customers, including ETA and job details, to guarantee satisfaction.
• Perform accurate, real‑time back‑reporting of work performed at the equipment level using the e‑Optimum system.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers, site contacts, and end‑users while applying an ambassador attitude.
• Ensure equipment safety and performance, managing the site environment during service operations.
• Identify site risks, take immediate action on high‑risk situations, and follow escalation procedures.
• Execute service visits (planned maintenance, call‑outs, repairs) respecting schedules, quality standards, and processes.
• Plan workload together with the service supervisor and raise sales leads when appropriate.
• Manage proximity stock, request spare parts, and keep tools, van, and instruments in good condition.
• Provide regular updates to the supervisor and attend training on lift technology.

• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships with customers and end‑users.
• Safety‑focused mindset with the capability to identify risks and follow escalation protocols.
• Organizational ability to plan workload, manage inventory, and report accurately.
• Willingness to attend training and potentially coach colleagues on lift technology.
