Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Prague to provide second‑level support for desktop and server infrastructure across our global client base. The role involves administering Windows and Linux environments, delivering consultative technical services, and maintaining strong customer relationships while following ITIL best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑level support for client desktop issues, including PC hardware, Windows, Linux, and Platform 9.
• Administer Windows file and print servers as well as Linux‑based servers.
• Deliver consultative services to technical customers, advising on IT technology and methodology choices.
• Communicate effectively with end users and peers to resolve support tickets and adhere to ITIL‑based service level agreements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated competence across multiple IT disciplines and the ability to engage senior management.
• Strategic thinking, strong time‑management, and the capacity to work in a geographically dispersed team.
• Professional customer service attitude and strong relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Windows Desktop administration (build, optimization, security, virtualization, VPN, auto‑deployment).
• Advanced Linux Desktop administration (build, optimization, security, virtualization, scripting).
• Windows Server OS expertise (installation, configuration, clustering, Active Directory, Group Policy, monitoring, backup).
• Virtualization platform experience (Workstation, Platform 9).
• ITIL certification or equivalent IT process management knowledge.
