Sourcing Manager

About the role

Albert is looking for a Sourcing Manager to lead the sourcing of private‑label products in selected categories. The role combines strategic sourcing, cost optimisation and supplier relationship management to support the company’s mission of providing healthier, local food.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end sourcing process for private‑label products within defined categories.
• Develop and execute sub‑category sourcing strategies aligned with the overall company strategy.
• Drive cost‑base reduction by expanding purchase spend coverage and improving price and terms.
• Oversee contract administration, including renewals, extensions and terminations.
• Support private‑label portfolio growth while ensuring compliance with health, sustainability and community standards.
• Monitor market trends and maintain effective stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in retail business, preferably in sourcing or category management.
• University degree preferred.
• Strong negotiation and category management experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Czech.
• Proactive attitude with solid planning and organisational abilities.
• Motivation to work in an international, multicultural environment.
