Chief Pharmacist (m/f/d) – Pilsen, Czech Republic

About the role

Redcare Pharmacy, a leading online pharmacy in Europe, is expanding its operations to the Czech Republic. We are looking for an experienced Chief Pharmacist to lead our new Pilsen branch, ensuring high‑quality pharmaceutical services and compliance with all regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the chief pharmacist (vedoucí lékárník) for the local pharmacy, providing expert advice to customers and overseeing correct medication dispensing.
• Implement and maintain a quality management system in close collaboration with the Quality Department.
• Ensure all dispensing activities comply with national and international laws and regulations.
• Manage the on‑site pharmaceutical advisory team, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
• Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Analyse pharmacovigilance notifications and report them to the appropriate authorities when required.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with active membership in the Czech Chamber of Pharmacists.
• Legal qualification to act as Chief Pharmacist and responsible representative in the Czech Republic.
• Practical experience in a community pharmacy environment.
• Specialised competency (atestace) according to Czech Act No. 95/2004 Coll.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities, with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Czech and EU pharmacy legislation.
• Experience with quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to conduct pharmacovigilance reporting.
