DevOps Engineer

About the role

Thales is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its Prague team. You will be responsible for installing, configuring and integrating Thales security solutions within customer environments, ensuring they meet both Thales and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure Thales solutions on physical hardware or virtual platforms.
• Integrate solutions with customer back‑end and core network elements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and customer acceptance plans.
• Support development and validation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide progress updates to the Project Manager and execute acceptance test plans with customers.
• Deliver internal training sessions and share integration best practices.
• Identify and communicate technical risks to the project manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of professional experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Proven ability to work autonomously on scripting and automation tasks.

Required skills

• Advanced Linux administration (at least 3 years).
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python or Perl.
• Solid understanding of IPv4 networking protocols.
• Experience with hardware platforms and virtualization environments.
