HR Contact Center Associate – German & English (Remote, 12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Join Amazon's HR Contact Center Team to provide bilingual support to employees across EMEA. You will work remotely (or from our Prague office) handling a wide range of HR queries in German and English, contributing to a seamless employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to employee inquiries via phone, live chat, email and internal case systems.
• Assist with benefits, payroll, leave of absence, onboarding, terminations and data management.
• Use documented FAQs and SOPs to resolve issues, escalating when necessary.
• Take ownership of each contact, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Identify gaps in documentation or processes and propose improvements.
• Communicate clearly in both German and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Collect employee feedback to continuously improve service quality.
• Work rotational shifts covering weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to work flexible, rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Quiet, private home office with reliable internet (minimum 20 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload).
• Strong computer literacy and ability to follow documented procedures.
