Solution Architect – API Mediation Layer

About the role

Join NN Digital Hub in Prague as a Solution Architect focused on the Mediation Layer team. You will shape how systems connect, design secure and scalable API solutions, and turn architectural thinking into practical results.

Key responsibilities

• Design solution architecture for API‑related initiatives and translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure designs.
• Guide delivery teams in selecting appropriate APIs, integration patterns and architecture building blocks while ensuring compliance with standards.
• Identify gaps in existing APIs, create and maintain architecture documentation and support teams during implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in solution architecture with a strong focus on APIs and system integration.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work across international teams.

Required skills

• Domain‑driven design, REST APIs, event‑driven architecture.
• API gateways, OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, certificate‑based trust, identity and access management.
• Security concepts such as authentication, authorization, token‑based access and secure communication.
• Creation of architecture artefacts: solution designs, interface definitions, architecture diagrams, technical decision records.
