Project Planning & Control Specialist

About the role

ABB is looking for a Project Planning & Control Specialist to lead planning, scheduling and cost control for small to medium‑size projects at the Ostrava branch. You will maintain and analyse actual and forecasted schedules, costs, revenues and risks, ensuring projects stay on track.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project implementation, maintaining schedule, cost, cash flow and risk plans.
• Analyse project requirements and ensure all essential work activities are identified for realistic scheduling.
• Monitor progress, analyse critical paths and ensure milestones are achieved as planned.
• Close projects in line with customer contracts, reporting deviations and opportunities.

Required profile

• Secondary or university education.
• English at B2 level or higher; Czech or Slovak at B2 level.
• Proactive attitude, strong time‑management and communication skills.
• Experience with data‑driven planning tools.

Required skills

• MS Project.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP (advantage).
