Room Dining & Banquet Manager

About the role

As the Room Dining & Banquet Manager at W Prague, you will oversee the daily operations of in‑room dining and banquet services, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while leading the Food & Beverage team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily operation of Room Service.
• Lead, train and motivate team members to deliver exceptional food and beverage service.
• Ensure compliance with W Hotels standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitor staffing levels and allocate resources according to business needs.
• Address operational issues promptly and lead by example on the floor.
• Support the planning and execution of meetings, events and functions.
• Prepare equipment, glassware, silverware and buffet presentations.
• Collaborate with kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Manage inventory, beverage cost control and support financial targets.
• Schedule and deploy team members according to service requirements.
• Lead shifts, actively participate in event service and build strong client relationships.
• Create memorable, personalised guest experiences and handle feedback or complaints professionally.
• Motivate, coach and develop team members, oversee onboarding and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in room service and banquet operations within a hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a hands‑on approach.
• Excellent guest‑service orientation and ability to respond to guest needs promptly.
• Capability to manage budgets, control costs and monitor expenses.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships with guests and groups.
