Senior Statik – Civil Engineering Office

About the role

AFRY, an engineering, design and consulting firm supporting energy and industrial transformation, is looking for an experienced colleague for its Prague civil engineering office. The role suits someone who can work independently, take responsibility for complex projects and help lead the team.

Key responsibilities

• Independently carry out and check demanding structural calculations
• Take responsibility for complex design of structural systems in various materials
• Ensure quality and authorise the structural parts of project documentation
• Lead, supervise and mentor junior designers in the team
• Coordinate with other disciplines and communicate with clients and authorities

Required profile

• University degree in civil engineering
• Proven experience in civil structural engineering (at least 5 years)
• Authorisation in structural and dynamic engineering (ČKAIT) is an advantage
• Ability to make independent decisions and strong knowledge of technical standards
• Advanced MS Office skills and driving licence category B
• English communication skills for international teams

Required skills

• Advanced calculation software: SCIA Engineer, FIN EC, GEO, Idea Statica
• Advanced graphic software: Revit, Tekla Structures
