Upper Primary English Teacher – Prague (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Upper Primary English Teacher to join an international school in Prague, teaching students aged 10‑15. The role starts in August 2026 and involves delivering the International Primary Curriculum alongside Czech Ministry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.
• Integrate project‑based learning and critical‑thinking activities in line with the IPC.
• Assess student progress and provide individualized feedback.
• Collaborate with a multicultural teaching team to enhance the curriculum.
• Participate in professional development and school‑wide projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field; teaching certification (QTS/PGCE) preferred.
• Previous experience teaching English to upper‑primary or secondary students, ideally in an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of English language and literature curricula and ability to adapt to diverse learners.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and contribute positively to the school community.
