Cybersecurity Architect

About the role

Valeo’s R&D Centre in Prague is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to lead the security design of its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) validation toolchain. The role focuses on defining and implementing robust cybersecurity architectures for hybrid on‑premise, cloud and network environments handling massive data volumes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and update cybersecurity architecture best practices aligned with Valeo CSMS, TISAX and ISO 21434.
• Design end‑to‑end security solutions covering the full data lifecycle, including disaster recovery planning, log management and cost optimisation.
• Analyse external components (libraries, software, hardware) and internal IT/OT solutions for vulnerabilities.
• Perform risk assessments, third‑party risk reviews and project information risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance of the validation toolchain throughout BCP and DRP phases and verify requirements before go‑live and during operation.
• Monitor emerging threats, standards and authentication protocols, providing expert guidance on incidents and breaches.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture for complex, data‑intensive systems.
• Strong knowledge of automotive security standards such as TISAX and ISO 21434.
• Ability to work with hybrid architectures (on‑premise, cloud, networks, HIL).
• Experience conducting risk assessments and managing third‑party security reviews.
