HR Service Automation Senior Specialist

About the role

The HR Automation Senior Specialist drives the employee experience agenda by identifying and automating rule‑based, repetitive HR processes. Reporting to the Learning Operations Service Experience Lead, the role designs, develops, deploys and maintains digital solutions that deliver a consumer‑grade experience for employees while ensuring scalability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process assessment and automation feasibility studies across the Learning Operations landscape to shape the automation roadmap.
• Enable contact‑channel optimization using RPA, AI and chatbots, and provide functional oversight of installed automations.
• Track, communicate and quantify automation benefits such as capacity gains, reduced manual effort and lower operational costs.
• Manage the rollout schedule, anticipate risks and ensure business‑as‑usual continuity during releases or outages.
• Review application specifications, collaborate with project teams and prioritize automation opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with partners, plan release impacts and create/update architecture and design documentation.
• Liaise with HR Solutions partners to deploy the Learning Operations Automation roadmap and support change management.
• Develop, test and maintain automated processes, and provide improvement recommendations to management.

Required profile

• Proven knowledge of digital innovation impact on HR service delivery, especially in the Learning space.
• Experience with cloud‑based service platforms and as a functional expert in RPA, AI and cloud HR solutions.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and business acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree (STEM or related preferred) and 3+ years of RPA development experience.
• 3‑5 years working within RPA/AI/robotics development lifecycles; familiarity with scripting or programming languages is a plus.
