Senior HR Data Privacy Governance Specialist

About the role

Join the HR Technology team as a Senior Specialist responsible for supporting global HR data privacy processes. You will ensure HR systems and new functionalities comply with worldwide privacy regulations and work closely with HR operations leaders, the Global Privacy Office and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the global HR privacy steward, participating in GDPR and privacy working groups and keeping HR teams informed of regulatory changes.
• Obtain local and global privacy approvals for HR systems, AI assessments and data‑privacy forms in collaboration with the Global Privacy Office and legal.
• Advise HR leadership on privacy risks, mitigation actions and SOX audit controls.
• Review and approve HR data requests to ensure compliance with privacy standards.
• Identify and prioritize process or system improvements to reduce financial, reputational or legal risk.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in HRIS, IT or HR Operations (or 6 years with a high‑school diploma).
• At least 2 years of global data‑privacy experience and solid knowledge of GDPR and other privacy regulations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data management and privacy principles.
• Experience with HR technology, preferably Workday, and familiarity with AI‑ethics approvals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects in a matrix, deadline‑driven environment.
