Java Software Engineer – API & Cloud Development

About the role

DHL IT Services is looking for a Java Software Engineer to own and deliver business‑critical, API‑driven platforms and web applications. You will work in a global, multicultural environment, shaping the technology backbone of the world’s largest logistics company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and support robust REST‑based APIs and modern web applications.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, performance and security of cloud‑native solutions.
• Act as the technical counterpart to senior design stakeholders, validating feasibility and architecture.
• Implement development standards, manage CI/CD pipelines and promote secure software delivery.
• Collaborate with global teams, participate in architecture discussions and support integration activities.

Required profile

• Solid experience with Java and React, plus REST API development.
• Good knowledge of building secure cloud‑native applications.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks under pressure and collaborate across regions.
• Advanced English communication skills.
