Mainframe Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

Deutsche Börse Group is looking for a Mainframe Infrastructure Administrator to manage and maintain its mainframe servers and supporting infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, integrate and maintain hardware and software components for mainframe environments.
• Install and maintain z/OS and third‑party software.
• Analyze system problems, provide resolutions and maintain documentation.
• Apply security controls (z/OS RACF) and comply with audit requirements.
• Manage SAN disks, tape libraries and overall storage.
• Participate in on‑call rotation (1‑2 shifts, on‑call roughly every 5 weeks).

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with IBM zSeries mainframes and related hardware (SAN, tape).
• Sysprog‑level knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, SMS, RACF, z/OSMF and ISV products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with initiative and flexibility to work nights and weekends.
