Junior Data Analyst – Join Our Data Team

About the role

We are looking for a curious Junior Data Analyst to join our Data Team in Ostrava. You will work with our Azure‑based cloud data platform and Databricks to turn raw data into actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse data and create reports and Power BI dashboards that support smarter decision‑making.
• Support the implementation and development of production analytical systems.
• Participate in data projects – explore, crunch, and model data to uncover insights.
• Ensure data assets are well‑documented, accessible and of high quality.
• Collaborate with the Data Team to answer business questions with appropriate analytical solutions.
• Contribute to improving data maturity across all business lines.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education; university background in IT, statistics or economics is a plus.
• English proficiency at B2 level, used regularly.
• Strong analytical thinking and a problem‑solving mindset.
• Responsibility, reliability and a team‑first attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Basic understanding of SQL and BI concepts (databases, data warehousing, KPIs, dashboarding).
• Familiarity with Power BI for visualisation.
• Exposure to Azure and Databricks platforms is a plus.
