Linux/SUSE Specialist – Infrastructure Team

About the role

Brose Group is looking for a Linux/SUSE specialist to join its Infrastructure team. You will work on the full lifecycle of Linux servers, collaborate with international colleagues, and help automate processes to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of Linux servers (SUSE/Ubuntu) using SUSE Manager and related tools.
• Administer services such as Apache, Tomcat, Docker, CUPS, and Samba in VMware and cloud environments.
• Handle incidents, change, and problem management following ITIL processes.
• Develop automation to reduce manual tasks and focus on higher‑value work.
• Participate in internal infrastructure projects with an emphasis on security and quality.
• Communicate regularly with colleagues in Ostrava, Germany, and India.

Required profile

• Daily communication in English.
• Proven experience as a Linux administrator.
• Hands‑on experience with SUSE, Ubuntu or RedHat.
• Knowledge of VMware, Apache and Tomcat.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
• Understanding of certificates (CertMonger, OpenSSL) is a plus.
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python are a plus.
• Experience with SaltStack, Git, YAML, Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.
