Junior/Middle QA Engineer

About the role

Join Veeam’s Quality Assurance team in Prague and contribute to the reliability of our data‑protection and AI‑trust products. You will work closely with developers and product owners to ensure that Veeam solutions meet high functional and usability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deep‑dive into Veeam products, technologies and the QA profession.
• Analyze software requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Execute functional and exploratory testing on one or several Veeam products.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders throughout the development cycle.
• Evaluate test results, log defects and maintain the defects database.

Required profile

• Technical education background or a strong passion for technology.
• 1–2 years of experience in system administration, software testing or software development.
• Motivation to grow professionally in software testing.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of networking technologies (DNS, DHCP, basic network configuration).
• Curiosity, attention to detail and logical thinking.
• English proficiency sufficient for daily communication in an international team.
