Network Security Specialist

About the role

NTT DATA is looking for an experienced Network Security Specialist to design, implement and configure cutting‑edge security solutions. You will work with modern firewall platforms, collaborate with customers across finance, government and commercial sectors, and help shape secure network architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and configure network security solutions, focusing on firewalls and security gateways.
• Consult and deliver projects for financial institutions, public administration and commercial clients, including migrations and major infrastructure changes.
• Provide technical pre‑sales support by presenting solution options and addressing technical requirements.
• Resolve technical incidents in partnership with vendors and technology partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and evolve security architectures.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet and/or Check Point technologies.
• Strong knowledge of network and infrastructure security concepts.
• Ability to design and integrate security components, including identity verification and infrastructure protection.
• Excellent communication skills in Czech and English for customer and vendor interactions.
• Independent, responsible, technically reliable and eager to pursue certifications.
• Additional experience with F5 Networks, Cisco Security, Tufin, AlgoSec, Qualys or similar tools is a plus.
