Platform Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Kubernetes

About the role

As a Platform Engineer you will design, build and operate cloud‑native platform capabilities for SAP's BTP ABAP Cloud environment. You will improve reliability, scalability and performance while collaborating with product, design and cloud operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate platform capabilities, deployment frameworks and infrastructure automation.
• Improve system reliability, scalability and performance through monitoring, alerting and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with product, design and cloud operations to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Support development of Python‑ and Go‑based tools, define APIs and implement workflows.
• Drive test automation and intelligent operations within platform workflows.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms and containerised environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, observability and system reliability.
• Comfort troubleshooting issues using logs and metrics.
• Experience with DevOps practices and awareness of security and access control.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and fluency in Czech and English.
