Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, Software and IT

About the role

Vivicta is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead software‑ and technology‑related sourcing initiatives. You will identify spend optimisation opportunities, manage supplier relationships and deliver measurable financial impact across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, focusing on software licensing agreements.
• Maintain a visible pipeline of sourcing projects and act as a trusted business partner to stakeholders.
• Develop category plans that quantify short‑ and long‑term financial impact.
• Lead complex negotiations, including RFI/RFP preparation, supplier evaluation, and contract award recommendations.
• Support supplier lifecycle activities such as onboarding, segmentation, contract management and exit planning.
• Manage performance of designated suppliers and build strategic relationships.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security & Compliance, Sustainability, Finance and other service organisations to ensure sourcing decisions meet regulatory and commercial requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and continuously improve purchase‑to‑pay processes.

Required profile

• University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of strategic sourcing experience with a proven record of spend optimisation and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Extensive experience negotiating large‑scale software technology contracts and managing global suppliers.
• Background in software licensing across IT infrastructure, security, compliance and cloud solutions.
• Experience working in an international, matrix‑structured organisation.
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
