Software Engineer – Digital Solutions for Industrial Machinery

About the role

You will develop digital and software engineering solutions for industrial machinery, turning customer requirements into scalable, practical applications. Working in an international engineering environment, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, participate in workshops, and contribute to AI‑driven improvements for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and structure customer requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Evaluate solution concepts against existing architectures, tools and system landscapes.
• Facilitate workshops and communicate solution proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
• Design, develop and implement software features in Java and related technologies.
• Support AI and machine‑learning use cases to optimise engineering and industrial processes.
• Contribute to development best practices such as code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, clean code and agile methods.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Experience in software development, preferably with Java and SQL databases.
• Background in requirements engineering and customer‑facing technical roles.
• Strong communication skills in English and Czech or Slovak; German is a plus.
• Valid work permit for the Czech Republic.
