Lead Cyber Security Architect/Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Cyber Security Architect/Engineer at Honeywell Technologies, you will drive the design, development and implementation of cyber security solutions for enterprise‑level network and cloud environments. Based in Brno, you will provide technical guidance, mentor junior staff and ensure secure integration of new initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project team members.
• Oversee execution of cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
• Conduct regular security assessments, risk analyses and vulnerability mitigation.
• Lead response to security incidents and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and address security requirements.

Required profile

• 9+ years of IT experience, including at least 7 years in network security or cyber security.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Zero Trust technologies – Zscaler (minimum 3 years).
• Firewall administration and gateway configuration (minimum 4 years).
• VPN solutions – Cisco ASA, Azure/AWS VPN (minimum 3 years).
• Cloud platforms – Azure and AWS networking (minimum 4 years).
• Monitoring tools – Nagios or Solarwinds (minimum 3 years).
• Scripting with Python.
