Structural Engineer – Steel Structures for Global Projects

About the role

Our custom manufacturing department in Brno is expanding rapidly, focusing on high‑voltage products such as gas‑insulated switchgear and cooling systems. As a Structural Engineer you will work on steel structures for international projects, collaborating with teams in Switzerland, Sweden and other locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete manufacturing documentation for steel structures for projects such as offshore wind farms, nuclear power plants and oil platforms.
• Create detailed drawings and 3D models using Tekla Structures.
• Perform static and dynamic calculations of steel structures with SCIA Engineer.
• Assess welded and bolted connections using IdeaStatika.
• Collaborate with the Brno engineering team and internal customers abroad (Switzerland, America, India).
• Participate in the development of tools and processes within the department.

Required profile

• Secondary school or university degree in a technical field; recent graduates are welcome.
• Ability to work responsibly on assigned projects with a focus on functionality and efficiency.
• Systematic thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and methods.

Required skills

• Tekla Structures (3D modeling and drawing).
• SCIA Engineer (static and dynamic calculations).
• IdeaStatika (assessment of welded and bolted connections).
