About the role

Amazon is looking for a Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician to keep critical machines running smoothly in its facilities. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide variety of equipment, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects across the EU.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out proactive and preventive maintenance on diverse workplace equipment.
• Diagnose faults in distribution warehouses and execute repairs.
• Utilize modern tools to maximize equipment efficiency.
• Follow all health‑and‑safety procedures and standards.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and implement best practices at multiple sites.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with external suppliers when specialized expertise is required.
• Work in rotating shifts to provide 24/7 support.

Required profile

• Technical qualification in engineering or a comparable practical engineering background.
• Relevant experience as a qualified technician in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in Czech (spoken and written).
• Basic English (minimum B1 level) is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring equipment conditions and working with printing, application, conveyor, or automation systems is desirable.
