Workplace Manager

About the role

The Workplace Manager will lead day‑to‑day facilities management service delivery for the Microsoft office. The role combines operational oversight, risk and business continuity advice, and sustainability guidance to ensure a high‑performing workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily FM service delivery, including vendor management, contract negotiation and tendering.
• Develop, monitor and report on operational and capital budgets, achieving financial KPIs.
• Produce monthly FM status reports, re‑forecasting, accruals and five‑year capital plans.
• Act as Building Ambassador, coordinating internal moves, contractor activities and health & safety compliance.
• Drive sustainability, energy and utility data analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of management contracts, vendor agreements and FM regulations.
• Proactive inspection of facilities, systems and common areas to maintain high standards.
• Experience in line management, recruitment support and team initiative coordination.
• Ability to communicate policies, procedures and FSC (Facilities Service Centre) processes to client employees.
