Procurement Manager – Capital Projects & Real Estate

About the role

The Procurement Manager will partner with REFS, Finance and Procurement stakeholders to drive sourcing and procurement activities for capital projects, real estate and related facilities. The role focuses on aligning business requirements with strategic sourcing, negotiation and risk mitigation to achieve productivity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing and procurement for capital projects, real estate and facilities categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop sourcing approaches and negotiation strategies when no existing category strategy exists.
• Oversee sourcing execution by buyers and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify cost‑effective solutions and drive savings initiatives.
• Monitor supplier markets, industry trends and competitive intelligence to enhance category performance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, anti‑bribery standards and preferred supplier agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 + years of procurement and contract management experience, preferably in capital projects, construction or real estate.
• Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS) strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work in global, matrixed organisations across multiple geographies.
