1st Level Administrator – IT Support

About the role

PFISTERER is a leading technology company in the energy sector, driving the transition to renewable energies and expanding electricity grids. As a 1st Level Administrator you will join the Kadan site team to provide on‑site and remote IT support, ensuring smooth operation of servers, networks and user devices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support to site users via on‑site assistance, telephone, or ticket system.
• Monitor and perform initial troubleshooting of the server and network landscape, including international infrastructure.
• Install, configure and maintain IT hardware assets.
• Support system work and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain functionality of video‑conferencing equipment in media rooms.
• Assist with IT infrastructure projects such as hardware replacements.
• Act as central contact for production‑related technical questions and advise specialist departments.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist in system administration) or comparable qualification.
• Minimum three years of experience in IT support or help‑desk environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems.
• Analytical, structured work approach with good communication and organizational skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset and customer‑service orientation.
• Fluent written and spoken Czech and English; German language skills are a plus.
