Accountant – Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing

About the role

Vistra’s Prague office is looking for an Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities. You will work in a collaborative, digital‑first environment, contributing to the company’s global progress mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Prepare account reconciliations and financial reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems.
• Ability to communicate confidently in Czech and English, both verbally and in writing.
