Accounts Payable Coordinator

About the role

The Accounts Payable Coordinator handles accounts payable activities, including processing supplier invoices and employee expenses, and ensures payments are made on time in line with company policy.

Key responsibilities

• Create new supplier accounts and maintain existing ones, keeping the required segregation of duties
• Own allocated supplier accounts and review them regularly so they are understood and properly managed
• Process purchasing documents into SAP, including supplier invoices, employee expenses and debit notes, making sure they are complete and accurately coded
• Assist with developing and reviewing accounts payable policies and procedures and ensure compliance with them
• Ensure supplier, expense and other payments are made on time according to company policy
• Resolve supplier disputes with purchasing managers and handle pricing and delivery queries promptly to avoid suppliers stopping work
• Carry out regular supplier statement reconciliations between SAP and the supplier and resolve outstanding items
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Communicative English (B2)
• Previous finance experience or education is an advantage
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Team player who is eager to learn and improve processes

Required skills

• SAP and Oracle experience is an advantage
