Advanced Systems Verification Engineer – Flight Control Actuation

About the role

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Systems Verification Engineer to join its Flight Control Actuation centre of excellence in Brno. You will translate system requirements into verified performance, defining verification strategies and developing test solutions for safety‑critical aircraft control units. The position is hybrid, with three days on‑site and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Specify the test‑stand architecture and behaviour required to satisfy customer and regulatory requirements.
• Derive compliance means from equipment‑level specifications and ensure alignment with higher‑level system requirements.
• Develop and document verification approaches tailored to each equipment specification.
• Coordinate functional groups (systems, electrical, hardware, mechanical, software, test services, safety) throughout development, prototype/serial manufacture, and verification.
• Lead test‑stand assembly and equipment verification activities, reporting status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges and bring innovative products to market.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related electrotechnical field.
• Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic.
• Experience with hardware/software/mechanical system integration is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to document verification processes clearly.
