Android Developer – Prague

About the role

Ubiquiti is looking for an experienced Android Developer to join its Prague team. The role involves building high‑quality Android applications that integrate with IoT and networking products, working closely with designers and backend engineers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Fluent in English and Czech with strong communication and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to design and ship long‑lived applications with maintainable architecture.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Jetpack libraries, Coroutines or RxJava, and dependency injection.
• Consuming RESTful APIs and WebSocket communication.
• Implementing pixel‑perfect designs from Figma.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex).
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Clean Architecture, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
