Android Software Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver Android features from requirements through implementation, ensuring secure, reliable and high‑performance mobile applications.
• Own the technical design and architecture of assigned features, collaborating with product owners, architects, QA engineers and fellow developers.
• Drive development planning and execution by breaking down features into well‑defined tasks, estimating effort and tracking progress.
• Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, modern Android practices and continuous improvement of performance, security and maintainability.
• Ensure end‑to‑end product quality by developing unit tests, supporting functional and automated testing, and resolving technical issues independently.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Android development experience with strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java and the Android SDK.
• Ability to communicate in Czech at a B1 level.
• Deep understanding of modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, clean architecture, and dependency injection.
• Strong experience integrating APIs, SDKs and third‑party libraries while focusing on performance and maintainability.
• Expertise in secure mobile development, including secure coding, code obfuscation, encryption, HTTPS/TLS and Android KeyStore/KeyChain.
• Excellent problem‑solving and technical communication skills.
