Associate AFFERA™ Mapping Specialist

About the role

Medtronic’s Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team is seeking an Associate AFFERA™ Mapping Specialist to support customers across the Czech territory. Based in Prague, the role combines field‑based clinical support, training and education for physicians and electrophysiology laboratory teams using the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site product support and procedural assistance during cardiac electrophysiology cases.
• Deliver training and education to physicians, lab staff and customers on the AFFERA™ system.
• Travel up to 70% of the time to hospitals and customer sites within the assigned territory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering obtained within the last 3 years or to be completed before start date.
• Demonstrated interest in medical technology, electrophysiology or biomedical engineering through projects, internships or work experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English and eligibility to work in the Czech Republic with a valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology.
• Familiarity with medical imaging or biomedical signal processing.
• Experience presenting technical information or training others.
