Associate AI Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Associate AI Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team that supports research, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and animal monitoring through data science and AI delivery. You will work on impactful AI products, collaborate with engineers and data scientists, and help build a learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Write efficient, maintainable code following software‑engineering best practices.
• Use deployment and version‑control tools to manage AI models and pipelines.
• Document AI models, algorithms, and processes thoroughly.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate results and methodologies.
• Stay current with advances in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver prioritized projects and features.
• Implement automated testing and monitoring to ensure AI system reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience with Python or a comparable programming language.
• Experience building scalable solutions using cloud services, data pipelines, databases, Git, and an IDE.
• Familiarity with developing backend services, especially RESTful APIs.
• Strong communication, analytical mindset, and ability to learn quickly in new domains.
