Associate Designer

About the role

ABB is looking for an Associate Designer to join the Mechanical Engineering team in Brno. You will be responsible for creating and reviewing design documentation for modular systems with low‑ and high‑voltage distribution panels, supporting projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the project manager on customer orders.
• Prepare technical documentation for projects, initially under the guidance of an experienced designer and later independently.
• Generate necessary technical data and support error correction.
• Develop atypical and complex construction solutions for modular systems.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education in mechanical engineering.
• Ability to work flexibly, independently and travel to customer sites.
• Communicative level of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DraftSight, AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Revit.
