Associate Director, Product Manager – PV Reporting & Surveillance

About the role

The Information Technology team within the Research & Development Division seeks a senior product manager to lead pharmacovigilance (PV) reporting and surveillance initiatives. Reporting to the Product Line Lead for Clinical Safety, you will shape strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high‑quality PV systems.

Key responsibilities

• Work with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement pharmacovigilance strategies that meet regulatory requirements and ensure patient safety, quality and compliance.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog of changes, define product strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee PV systems used for adverse event reporting and signal detection.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of global PV regulations and ensure company processes comply with ICH and other guidelines.
• Implement quality control measures to guarantee data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory and safety departments to integrate PV processes into product development.
• Partner with the business technology partner to implement new PVQC systems and meet project timelines.
• Provide strong stakeholder management across the organization.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in enterprise, business, information, systems or solution architecture.
• 5+ years in a health‑authority regulated environment.
• Proven ability to communicate with executive management, business leaders, IT peers and global colleagues.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a pragmatic, self‑directed approach.
• Experience establishing strategy and execution plans for best‑in‑class IT capabilities.
• History of building strong vendor relationships and influencing roadmaps.
• Knowledge of Agile development, cloud hosting and external implementation.
• Solid project management, communication and leadership skills with deep understanding of regulatory and quality standards.
