Associate Payroll Specialist EMEA

About the role

The Associate Payroll Specialist EMEA ensures accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple entities across the region. You will act as a liaison between HR, Finance, Tax and external providers, supporting the overall Payroll function and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver payroll for assigned entities in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Input and maintain payroll data in databases and spreadsheets.
• Monitor personnel and salary changes, and process expat and commuter payrolls with Global Mobility.
• Manage payroll controls for SOX and other audits, and compile approvals for bank payments.
• Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Respond to internal and external payroll, social insurance and tax inquiries.
• Standardise and improve Payroll & Benefits Administration processes across sites.
• Collaborate with HR Service Delivery, Business Partners and Centres of Excellence.
• Support peers with documentation, process optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Participate in projects, working groups and payroll reporting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a relevant payroll qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of payroll experience in a multinational environment.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Celergo) and HR systems such as Workday or SAP.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
