Auto Finance Manager – Czech Republic & Slovakia

About the role

The Auto Finance Manager will develop and implement BYD’s automotive finance and leasing solutions across the Czech Republic and Slovakia, working closely with banks, leasing companies, dealer partners and internal teams to create competitive financing propositions that support vehicle sales and dealer network growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and manage retail and business finance products, including leasing, loans and balloon financing.
• Collaborate with banks and leasing firms to optimise financing offers, pricing and customer experience.
• Monitor finance penetration, portfolio margins, risk indicators and prepare performance analyses.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local financial partners, negotiate wholesale credit facilities and develop floor‑plan financing structures.
• Analyse market trends, competitor offers and regulatory developments to improve BYD’s financing proposition.
• Provide training to sales and dealer teams on finance products and support dealer adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive finance, leasing or related financial services.
• Strong understanding of retail automotive finance, leasing products and dealer financing structures.
• Fluent in English and Czech; Slovak language skills are a strong advantage.
