Automotive Technician – České Budějovice

About the role

Scania is looking for an Automotive Technician to join its service team in České Budějovice. You will help keep heavy trucks and buses safe, reliable and ready for the road while working with modern transport technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on Scania heavy vehicles and buses.
• Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic systems.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs.
• Perform preventive inspections and scheduled maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with Service Advisors, Parts Advisors and other workshop colleagues.
• Ensure high‑quality workmanship while following safety standards and Scania service procedures.

Required profile

• Technical or automotive qualification or relevant hands‑on experience in vehicle servicing and repair.
• Experience servicing heavy commercial vehicles, light commercial vehicles or passenger cars.
• Good understanding of vehicle mechanics, electrical systems and diagnostics.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable and committed to delivering high‑quality work.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Czech or Slovak (B2 level).
• Valid Category B driving licence (Category C is an advantage or can be obtained later).
