Azure Platform Engineer – Cloud Native Services

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Azure Platform Engineer to design, build and operate a modern, cloud‑native platform that supports critical services in a global, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Azure infrastructure‑as‑code across multiple environments using Terraform or Bicep.
• Build and operate AKS clusters, networking, and shared platform services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployment workflows (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Implement monitoring, observability, alerting and automated operations.
• Drive cost optimisation through autoscaling, right‑sizing and scale‑to‑zero strategies.
• Apply AI‑first approaches using agentic AI tooling to enhance delivery.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in Azure cloud/platform engineering within large organisations.
• Proven experience operating Kubernetes/AKS in production.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking and platform design.
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Good English language skills (mandatory).
