Business Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Business Finance Controller to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, profitability analysis, and project controlling for assigned business units and Central‑Eastern European operations. The role acts as a trusted finance partner to delivery, business development, project management, and leadership teams, ensuring transparency, performance optimisation, and policy compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks; monitor results and perform variance analysis.
• Support long‑term financial planning and strategic initiatives, analysing revenue, margin, utilisation and expenses.
• Monitor financial performance of customer and internal projects, tracking revenues, costs, margins and resource utilisation.
• Maintain accurate project data in SAP S/4HANA, support project managers with profitability reviews and forecasting.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, organise regular financial reviews and manage project‑related closing activities.
• Own end‑to‑end controlling of public‑sector projects, including cash‑flow, risk exposure and compliance.
• Partner with delivery managers and business leaders, providing financial guidance and supporting audits, contract reviews and ad‑hoc requests.

Required profile

• Strong FP&A capabilities with hands‑on project controlling experience.
• Commercial finance judgement and ability to work closely with operational stakeholders.
• Experience in public‑sector project finance and familiarity with corporate financial standards.
