Buyer – Procurement & Cost Savings

About the role

The Trèves Group is a global leader in automotive supply, specializing in acoustic and thermal insulation solutions. With continuous growth and a reputation for quality and innovation, we are expanding our purchasing team in the Czech Republic.

Key responsibilities

• Support monitoring and tracking of expenses across non‑production purchasing segments.
• Assist the Purchasing Manager in identifying cost‑saving opportunities and rolling out productivity initiatives.
• Analyze supplier pricing trends, gather market data and compile spend analysis to optimise the purchasing budget.
• Help maintain and update the active supplier database.
• Support contract administration, track expiration dates and participate in initial supplier discussions and minor negotiations.

Required profile

• Proven background in procurement, purchasing or sourcing.
• Strong ability to negotiate contracts, terms and pricing effectively.
• Fluent in Czech and English (written and spoken).
• Conversational proficiency in German to communicate with German‑speaking stakeholders.
