C# Software Engineer – R&D (Brno)

About the role

Join Bruker’s R&D team in Brno to develop modern automation solutions for mass‑spectrometry and bacterial‑identification devices. You will work on real hardware, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to medical‑device software that complies with strict regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation software using .NET C# and related technologies.
• Maintain and improve project infrastructure, including DevOps pipelines and cybersecurity measures.
• Monitor services, identify bottlenecks, and ensure reliability of the development lifecycle.
• Document software according to ISO/IEC, EU and US directives for medical devices.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps team and IT department to align hardware and software integration.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Informatics, Electronics, Mathematics or Physics.
• Professional English communication skills; Czech is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Patience and pro‑activity when dealing with corporate IT processes.
• Willingness to own and manage project infrastructure.
