Case Manager – Disability & Leave Services (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Disability & Leave Services (DLS) team at Amazon is looking for a Case Manager to provide end‑to‑end case management for leave of absence, disability and accommodation events. You will be the single point of contact for employees throughout the entire leave lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies, laws and Amazon’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and respond to employee inquiries about leave, disability events, benefits and options.
• Review medical documentation and adjudicate leaves in compliance with applicable plans, federal and state regulations.
• Develop and adjust case management plans as employee needs evolve, and coordinate return‑to‑work or ramp‑back processes.
• Communicate regularly with employees, managers and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Partner with third‑party administrators, HR, Safety, Legal, Payroll, Benefits and other teams to ensure seamless case handling.
• Maintain accurate system records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in customer service, human‑resource management, case management or leave & disability management.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency (minimum B2 CEFR).
• Ability to handle sensitive situations, solve problems with limited information and manage multiple cases independently.
