Civil Engineer – Dynamic/Static Calculations

About the role

Join Siemens Energy’s Transformation of Industry team as a Civil Engineer focused on dynamic and static foundation calculations for turbine and heavy rotating equipment. You will work on international projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external engineering partners to deliver robust civil and structural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical documentation and engineering inputs for steam turbine foundation design.
• Perform and review static and dynamic foundation calculations in line with applicable standards.
• Design foundations for heavy rotating equipment and turbomachinery installations.
• Define civil and structural requirements for customer site preparation activities.
• Coordinate with external engineering partners and provide clear feedback on deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and support technical discussions.
• Contribute to the development and sharing of technical expertise across Siemens Energy locations.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with foundation design for heavy rotating equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with engineering software used for machinery foundation analysis.
• Experience with dynamic and/or static calculations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• EU passport or valid work permit.
